White Label SEO
Clients expect their web agency to look after search as well. Doing it properly takes someone who reads crawl reports for a living, and few small agencies can keep that person occupied.
We carry out the search work and your agency presents it. Reports go out in your template, with your logo, from your address. One thing should be plain from the start: search engines decide positions, and we do not promise any.

What the work consists of
Technical audit
Crawling the site for broken links, redirect chains, duplicate titles, blocked resources and pages missing from the sitemap.
Indexing checks
Reading Search Console to see which pages are excluded and why, then correcting canonical tags and robots rules.
On-page corrections
Titles, descriptions, headings and internal links rewritten for the terms each page should answer.
Structured data
Schema markup for products, articles, local businesses and FAQs, validated before release.
Page speed
Core Web Vitals measured on field data, with the fixes carried out by a developer, not merely listed.
Content briefs
Outlines for your writers: the question to answer, subtopics to cover and pages to link from.
Local listings
Business profile details, categories and consistent name, address and telephone across directories.
What nobody can promise in search
Your client may have been told otherwise by a previous supplier. These are the facts we ask partner agencies to pass on.
A position
Rankings depend on competitors, the algorithm and the searcher. No supplier controls any of the three.
A date
Changes can take weeks or months to show in the data, and some produce no visible effect at all.
Visitor numbers or enquiries
Better visibility usually helps, but demand, price and the website itself decide whether people arrive and buy.
Immunity from updates
A core update can lower a well-made site. Sound practice reduces the risk without removing it.
The monthly cycle
Audit and baseline
The first month records where the site stands: indexed pages, errors, current visibility for agreed terms.
Written plan
A prioritised list of actions with the reason for each. Your account manager approves it.
Implementation
We make the changes in the content management system, or supply exact instructions to whoever maintains the site.
Report
What was done, what changed in the data and what comes next, laid out in your template.
Contents of the monthly report
- Tasks completed, with before and after
- Impressions and clicks from Search Console
- Index coverage and crawl errors
- Movement on the agreed search terms, up or down
- Pages gained or lost in the index
- Core Web Vitals on real-user data
- Planned actions for the following month
- Plain notes on anything that got worse
Should your agency resell SEO?
It works when
- Your clients will wait several months and read a report.
- You are willing to tell a client what cannot be promised.
- Someone can approve content and site changes promptly.
- The client owns their analytics and Search Console accounts.
It fails when
- The client has been promised first place.
- Link buying or automated content is expected.
- The site cannot be edited by anyone.
- Success is defined as sales alone, which search work does not control.
Raised by account managers
How is the price set?
Per engagement, after we have looked at the site. Size, platform and the state of the existing content all change the hours needed. SEO has no published hourly rate with us.
Do you buy links?
No. Paid links breach search engine guidelines and can lead to a manual action against the client's site.
Is content written with AI?
Drafting tools may help with outlines. Anything published should be checked by a person who knows the subject, because models state errors confidently.
Will you speak to our client?
Only if you ask us to, and then as part of your team. Otherwise all communication passes through your agency.
Does the platform matter?
Yes. WordPress and custom sites can be edited freely. Hosted site builders limit access to templates, redirects and server settings, so some fixes will not be possible and we say which before quoting.
Can you repair a site after a redesign lost its visibility?
We can find what changed: removed pages, missing redirects, altered titles. Restoring those is within our control. Whether the earlier positions return is not.
What do we need to give you?
Access to Search Console, analytics and the content management system, granted by the client to a user you control.
