Hire Vue.js Developers
Vue is often picked by small teams because a single developer becomes productive in it quickly. The difficulty comes later, when the application has grown and still runs on Vue 2, which stopped receiving updates at the end of 2023. Much of the Vue work we see is about getting such a project onto Vue 3 without halting the product.
Our developer joins your repository and your planning, and takes instructions from you. We are the employer and supply the equipment and the cover. You and the developer speak directly.

Tasks suited to a Vue.js developer
The list below reflects what Vue projects tend to need. It is not a menu; one engagement usually touches several.
Vue 2 to Vue 3
Replacing filters, event buses and removed APIs, checking every dependency for a Vue 3 release, and using the migration build to move in stages. The UI library, the router and the store each get their own step.
Options API to Composition API
Rewriting large components with script setup and composables, so that logic shared through mixins becomes explicit imports. We convert where it helps and leave small components as they are.
Vuex to Pinia
Moving stores one module at a time, removing mutations that only forwarded a value, and adding types so that a misspelt getter fails at build time.
Nuxt sites
Server-rendered and statically generated sites with Nuxt: routing, data fetching on the server, meta tags, sitemaps, and hydration mismatches traced to their actual cause.
Vue inside Laravel or another back end
Single-file components mounted in server-rendered pages, or a single-page app connected through Inertia. Useful when you want interactivity without splitting the project in two.
Dashboards and data tables
Admin interfaces with filtering, sorting, pagination and inline editing, where the screen must stay quick with thousands of rows. Large lists are virtualised and kept out of deep reactivity.
What a Vue project is built from
The Vue core team maintains most of the essential libraries, which keeps the choices short. Our developers work with these.

How experienced a Vue developer you need
Vue is forgiving, so weak structure goes unnoticed until the application is large. Seniority shows in how a person organises code that already works.
Junior
Writes single-file components, binds forms and calls an API through an existing composable. Follows the project style guide. Needs guidance on reactivity pitfalls such as destructuring a reactive object.
Choose when: a more senior developer sets the patterns and checks the work.
Mid-level
Builds features across router, store and components, with tests. Writes composables others can reuse. Can carry out a Vuex to Pinia move or upgrade a UI library.
Choose when: you have a working Vue 3 application and a list of features.
Senior
Plans the migration from Vue 2, decides between a single-page app and Nuxt, sets up typing and testing, and explains the trade-offs in plain terms to people who do not write code.
Choose when: the project is on Vue 2, is being started fresh, or has no technical owner.
First steps with a Vue developer
Share the basics
Vue version, whether Nuxt or a UI library is involved, and the change you have in mind. If we may read the repository, our reply will be more exact.
We introduce one developer
A named person with a profile, whom you question on a call. You decide whether to go ahead with them or see another candidate.
A first task of limited size
Something real and self-contained, for example one view or one store module. You judge by the merge request.
Then a regular pattern
Your tracker holds the tasks. We send a weekly note on what shipped and what is held up, and bill once per month.
The cost of a Vue.js developer
Our rates are published. Pick the role and move the sliders for an indicative budget.

Would this work for your Vue project?
We are a good choice when
- Your application runs on Vue 2 and you want it moved without a feature freeze.
- You use Laravel and Vue together and need someone at home in both halves.
- Your team is small and one extra developer would change what you can deliver.
- You build for clients and want Vue work done quietly in the background.
Look elsewhere when
- The whole job is one small bug. A monthly arrangement is more than you need.
- You require on-site presence.
- You want us to commit to a migration date before we have seen the dependency list.
- Nobody is available to review or accept work on your side.
Vue.js: what clients want to know
Is it safe to stay on Vue 2?
It still runs, but the open-source release no longer receives security fixes, and new libraries target Vue 3 only. We can maintain a Vue 2 application while planning the move, and we will be plain about which dependencies are the obstacle.
Must we rewrite everything in the Composition API?
No. Vue 3 supports the Options API. We use the Composition API for new code and for components where shared logic has become hard to follow.
Nuxt or plain Vue?
Nuxt when pages must be indexed by search engines or rendered on the server for speed. Plain Vue with Vite for applications behind a login, where server rendering adds hosting complexity for little gain.
Our UI library has no Vue 3 version. What then?
This is the most common blocker. The options are to replace the library, to wrap the few components you use, or to write them yourself. We count how many screens use each component before recommending one.
What if the developer falls ill or moves on?
We provide a replacement, subject to your approval. Work is committed and documented in your repository as it goes, so the next person does not start from nothing.
How is the engagement ended?
There is no long term. It renews each month, and if you tell us before the next one starts, the developer hands over open work with notes.
Write to us about the Vue work
Say which Vue version you are on, what the application is for, and what you would like changed. A few sentences are plenty. We reply within one business day.
