Odoo Implementation and Development for UAE Businesses

Odoo is one system for accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, point of sale, manufacturing and more — which is why so many UAE businesses choose it. What we do in Odoo

• Implementation. Accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, POS, manufacturing and the other apps you need — configured, with your data moved in and your team trained.
• Custom modules. Workflows, approvals, reports and screens that Odoo does not do out of the box, built as proper modules so upgrades stay possible.
• Integrations. Online stores, payment gateways, delivery companies, banks, POS hardware and your other software, connected so data is entered once.
• Migration and upgrades. From spreadsheets, other accounting software or an older Odoo version, with the history you need carried across.
• Hosting and support. On Odoo’s own cloud, or on a server we manage in the UAE — with backups, monitoring and a support contract.

Set up for the UAE

• VAT. Odoo’s official UAE localisation provides the FTA tax set-up — standard 5%, zero-rated and exempt supplies, the reverse charge — and the VAT201 return. We configure it for your business and check it against your adviser’s treatment.
• Corporate tax. The localisation includes a corporate tax report; we map your accounts so it works.
• Currency. Exchange rates can be updated automatically from the Central Bank of the UAE.
• Arabic and English. The interface, documents and customer communication in both languages.
• Point of sale. A UAE localisation for Odoo POS, for shops and restaurants.

Odoo and UAE e-invoicing

Odoo creates the invoices, the tax logic and the customer data; the UAE programme then requires those invoices to travel through an Accredited Service Provider in the national format. Odoo does not include a UAE provider connection of its own, so the connection to the provider you appoint has to be added. We build and test that connection, and clean the data it depends on — see e-invoicing readiness.

Community or Enterprise?

• Odoo Community is open source (LGPLv3) with no licence fee. It covers a great deal, and everything added to it is yours to change.
• Odoo Enterprise is a per-user subscription bought from Odoo, with additional apps, Odoo’s hosting and version upgrades included.
