Mobile App Development
An app is a commitment. Once it is in the stores it must be updated when Apple and Google change their rules, when phones change shape, and when your own business changes. Building it is the first cost, not the only one.
We build apps with that in mind: a first version small enough to launch, a codebase another team could take over, and store accounts in your name from the first day.

Native or cross-platform
There is no universal answer. These are the considerations that usually settle it.
Cross-platform (Flutter, React Native)
One codebase for both stores. Suits most business apps: forms, lists, accounts, payments, maps. Lower cost to build and to maintain.
Native (Swift, Kotlin)
Separate apps for each platform. Worth it for heavy use of the camera, Bluetooth, background processing or the newest system features.
Perhaps not an app at all
If people will use it twice a year, a mobile website costs less and needs no installation. We will say so if that is the case.
Hire by platform
Part of every app we build
- Store listing, screenshots and review submission
- Sign-in, password reset and account deletion
- Crash reporting from the first test build
- Behaviour when the connection drops
- Push notifications with a way to opt out
- An admin screen for your staff
- A release process written down step by step
- Source code in your repository

Before you start
How long until the app is in the stores?
That depends on scope, which the discovery settles. Store review itself adds days, sometimes longer on a first submission, and is outside anyone's control.
Who pays the store fees?
You do, directly to Apple and Google, because the developer accounts are yours.
Can you take over an existing app?
Yes, provided you have the source code and access to the store accounts. If either is missing, tell us at the start; recovery is sometimes possible.
Will the app need a server?
Almost always. Accounts, data shared between users and notifications need a back end. It is part of the estimate.
Describe what the app should do
Who will use it, what they will do with it, and whether anything exists already. We reply within one business day.
